New boudoir shoot

I've shot boudoir photos for several new clients over the past few weeks, but due to the nature of the shoots most ask that I not post any on the website for privacy reasons. It's always nice when a client does give me the "thumbs up" to share their images, so I was pleased recently when Judy said I could post some of hers.

Judy was a lot of fun to work with and brought some great costumes and props to use in some of the shots. She had the photos taken as a birthday present for her boyfriend and she told me that he loved them. Here are a few of my favorite shots from her shoot.

New Boudoir Photos

One of my recent boudoir clients was kind enough to allow me to share some photos from her session on the site. She asked that me to only post photos where her face wasn't shown, but they're still pretty darn cool. The photos were taken for her husband as a Valentine's Day present and he loved them.

I'm really pleased with how well my modeling and boudoir photography has taken off this winter. It's a really artistic type of photography and it keeps me busy during the "off season" from weddings and seniors.

Valentine's Day Boudoir Photos - Last minute special

Being a procrastinator myself, I can empathize with people who wait to the last minute to buy gifts. That's why I'm offering a Valentine's Special, in which you can get a 1 hour boudoir photo session for only $195. The shoot will take place on Wednesday Feb 6. I still have about 4 openings in the schedule, some daytime, some evening - so please email me to set up an appointment or if you have any questions.

You can view a few samples of my boudoir work by clicking this link. Remember that I don't show anyone your boudoir photos unless you grant permission so you don't need to worry about the photos showing up anywhere. You're also free to bring friends along to the shoot if you want.

Amaya's Boudoir Photos

Yesterday I met with Amaya to shoot her boudoir photos. I was thrilled with how great the shoot went and with all of the incredible portraits that resulted. Amaya gave me permission to post the photos, and I tried to keep all of the blog shots to PG13-ish in nature. We also did some fine art shots that I'll be featuring on my art website sometime after the New Year.

Just a note that if any clients or potential clients are interested in commissioning me to shoot their boudoir photos, my schedule is pretty flexible in Jan/Feb so we can easily get photos finished in time for Valentine's Day gifts. Also, no boudoir shots are posted on the website without the clients' full consent.

New boudoir photos

Earlier in the week I met with another of my clients to shoot boudoir photos. The shoot went great and we got some terrific photos. I'm currently designing an album for her of the photos and she's going to give the album to her fiance on their wedding day. I think that's such a cool and romantic gift!

Sunday's Boudoir Shoot

Sunday afternoon I met with one of my wedding clients to shoot her boudoir photos. It was my first such shoot in several months, but everything went great. I've been having more and more clients inquire about boudoir photos over the past wedding season and I decided to go ahead and add the service to my site. Apparently, they're "all the rage" for women to give as gifts to their significant others, from everything from Valentine's gifts and weddings gifts to first year anniversary (which is paper) presents. I asked yesterday's bride why she wanted to have boudoir photos shot for her fiance and this is what she had to say:

"After I began shopping for a wedding gift for my future husband, I realized that I couldn't find anything out there that I felt was special enough for him. I wanted to give him a gift that he wouldn't expect, that was custom-made especially for him, and that would totally blow him away. For those reasons, I decided to have boudoir photos taken. I plan to put the photos into an album to give to him on our wedding day. Knowing me, this is the LAST gift he will be expecting from me! Knowing HIM, there is no better gift idea - he will absolutely LOVE these photos! I can't wait to see the expression on his face as he looks through the album!"

As with most clients, yesterday's bride is planning on giving the photos to her future husband as a wedding gift, so I don't want to reveal her name. She gave me the go ahead to post some photos on the blog, but I didn't want to post any that showed too much of her face so I chose some close-ups instead. As you'll see, I take a very artistic angle on these photos and shoot everything tastefully, while still showing off the beauty of my client.
