A day without rain

While the rain gave us a short reprieve, Sharon photographed some goldfinches which have been frequenting the thistle seed feeders we have behind the house. There must be a hundred of the birds or more residing in the woods behind the house and you can hear them singing all day long.

Later in the day, we were scouting locations for tomorrow's engagement shoot and we spotted a field filled with deer. There were at least a dozen of them. Sharon took a few photos, but we only had our 28-70 zoom (the "walking around lens") on the camera and they were pretty far away. I still liked the photos, especially because the colors of the field are such a pretty gold.
